I came in after eyeballing a certified pre-owned 2011 Elantra online. I scheduled a visit online and headed down that afternoon to take a look. Was greeted at the door then set up with sales associate, Earl, who was courteous and kind. While I ended up being disappointed with the Elantra after I saw it in person, Earl quickly suggested an alternative, the 2011 Sonata, which had the same sticker price and was in far better shape. Excitedly, I jumped on the offer and drove off the lot the next day with the Sonata, receiving financing through Wells Fargo, a bank affiliated with the dealership, at an extremely low rate that matched that of my financial institution. Following my purchase, Earl continued to maintain communication with me and ensured that I was completely satisfied with my new car. It’s been roughly one year and my Sonata is still running great! Thanks a lot, Earl, for your great suggestion and customer support!

When I first entered Hyundai South I braced myself for the sales pitch, pressure and pushy salesman encounter. It so WASN’T the case. My sweetheart and I both needed new cars. I wasn’t sure what I wanted. We went to Prime Hyundai and Fred H. came out the door to help us as soon as we got out of our car. My boyfriend found what he wanted and got a great deal. Then Fred looked through the inventory to find me something in my price range. I test drove a few things, but the car I liked was a little more than I could afford. I was going to pay cash since a bad divorce a few years ago ruined my credit rating, then Wes the Floor Manager told me Rich the finance guy could help me with that. He got me a great rate. We bought 2 cars from Fred that day. He was friendly and considerate and listened to what we wanted. We left there with a stack of Fred’s cards to give to our friends. Since I work in customer service and talk to a lot of people, I have already recommended Prime Hyundai. So go to Prime and ask for Fred H!

I would like to take a moment and participate in this review. I would like to thank Fred H. for his continued Stella Customer Service skills that he presents. Fred sold me my Hyundai at Prime in Quincy. I received frequent calls from Fred asking how things are going with my vehicle and if there is anything I need assistance with pertaining to my car. Fred not only sold me my car, I feel that we have built an excellent rapport. Fred has provided me with telephone numbers to contact him if I have any questions or problems at all and is always attentive to any concerns or needs I feel I may have. I’ve been in the market for a new car for a while and had taken time to visit 10 or so dealerships on the south shore a couple months ago. Of them all, Prime Hyundai South was the only one I looked back upon recently as a pleasant experience. So when I finally sorted through my car options and chose the Hyundai, I knew where to go. Fred Hollis helped me from start to finish. Truly everyone I interacted with there was nice and straight forward. I really feel like they wanted me to get the car and financing which I felt comfortable with and was within my budget. Instead of continually requiring me to say no to this, and no to that like many dealerships do. They asked questions, tried to understand my needs, and then provided me with facts to make informed decisions. Greg Howle, the manager, checked in with me a couple times while waiting on different steps to be completed to make sure everything was going smoothly. He made sure the price I was quoted online earlier in the week was honored. Also they beat the financing APR my bank offered, giving me a very reasonable rate. At the end of the day, I drove out with a new car satisfied with the car and financing plan. I’m not sure what else you could ask for.
